The parade commenced as scheduled with an amazing number of courageous onlookers braving the cold with wind chills around 20°. I staked out a vantage point between buildings where the wind wasn’t blowing quite as much while a lively crowd gathered along Jefferson Street hooten and hollering along with the wind being funneled in like it was green beer.
