U.S. Paralympics came to Huntsville for a second time in a three day event beginning in Big Spring Park with hand-cycle relays on Friday, time trials on Saturday and road races in Research Park on Sunday. This video is from the first races on Sunday.
The U.S. Paralympics Cycling Open, presented by Toyota, is underway at two locations in Huntsville April 8-10, 2022. The first event, the hand-cycle relays, are the subject of this video.

The parade commenced as scheduled with an amazing number of courageous onlookers braving the cold with wind chills around 20°. I staked out a vantage point between buildings where the wind wasn’t blowing quite as much while a lively crowd gathered along Jefferson Street hooten and hollering along with the wind being funneled in like it was green beer.
