U.S. Paralympics came to Huntsville for a second time in a three day event beginning in Big Spring Park with hand-cycle relays on Friday, time trials on Saturday and road races in Research Park on Sunday. This video is from the first races on Sunday including the first set of awards as well as the beginning of the second set of races.
My camera battery went dead just as the awards for the first races were completing which is about when I anticipated ending my broadcast anyway. Whew, two hours of bright sun and wind ran down my batteries too! The races were to continue with at least one more flight. The event was expected to conclude, according to the announcer, somewhere around 7 p.m. which is about the time this post is fist being published.
