Here’s a golden oldie that I dug out of the archives. Originally published on July 13, 2002 this is another one that I saved in an avi file that is much better than what I was able to put on the Internet at that time.
Our leaders are in denial of what is obvious at face value. The biggest threat to the future of this country is the incompetence and corruption of law enforcement.

Alabama has made the right decision by sharply curtailing the categories of crime that disqualify voting rights. Roy Moore has aptly illustrated the reality that the highly subjective so-called “moral turpitude” is in fact a vestige of segregationism. Roy Moore’s attempt to denigrate the Jones campaign for registering legal voters, is reprehensible and yet another act of contempt – by the hanging judge.

If you’re a conservative in Alabama, you are branded by both candidates as a “fascist.” If you’re tired of the non-choices for elected office, send them a message and Write-in Jim Casey for Senate of December 12th.
The race for Alabama Senate is busted. You can’t vote for Roy Moore, you can’t vote for Doug Jones. Write-in Jim Casey on 12/12 !!!
The Alabama Republican runoff for U.S. Senate is Tuesday. It’s sometimes difficult to know what to do when choosing the lesser of evils.
And for Mr. Trump, I’ve stated my opinion that the monuments should be moved. Beyond that, I can’t possibly see how you could have handled the situation in Charlottesville any better. You’ve got my approval rating for this one.
As a native Alabamian, I am sick and tired of the perpetuation of stupidity that the damn monument represents. If you wish to honor your relative dead for more than 150 years, let it be done in Maple Hill cemetery, where this particular monument belongs.
This shot continues my nostalgia role. I took this shot some years ago from the Aldridge Creek Green-way in southeast Huntsville near Ditto Landing.
After I pulled up the photo of Jeff Cook of the Alabama band last week, I took a second look at the photo set I have of Lynard Skynard hoping to find a shot suitable for a future TOCC TV cover. Alas, the band is worthy but my photography is not. Well, reall it is, but putting a horizontal aspect ratio onto a verticle cover just isn’t going to fit.
