I went out back yesterday to find a flower for my pretty girlfriend. Ain’t she a beaut!

I remember these from when I was a kid playing outback on the dirt hills and in the creekbed. Considered a viney nuisance by most. A wildflower that no one would plant in their yard, and yet a thing of such complex beauty.





With the world in such turmoil today, sometimes it’s good to notice the things we take for granted and the simple pleasures that give life air to breathe.
