St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2023



Crowds lined the streets of downtown Huntsville today to celebrate the luck of the Irish.

A beautiful springlike day with sunshine, mild temperatures, and little breeze coaxed participants and onlookers outside for the Ellen McAnelly memorial parade.



Even though this parade commenced last year as the COVID was releasing it’s grip, this year seemed especially festive with a hopefully trouble free spring and summer ahead.

The parade got off to good start today with great weather, warm temperatures, sunny skies and little breeze. This year’s parade seemed well organized with many nicely done fancy floats and krewes that were in a festive mood.
