American Statesman: Trump Ends Shutdown

Mr. Trump has announced today a deal to re-open government for three weeks in a gesture of empathy toward federal workers without compromising the need for a wall. The deal is contingent upon reaching agreement for a barrier on the southern border.

Mr. Trump then invoked “state of the art” technology in order to end the human trafficking across the border that includes people who are bound and gagged then forced to cross the border where they are forced into indentured servitude.

The President emphatically emphasized the necessity of a wall, or barrier, to protect the well being of the United States. If there is no long term deal by February 15, Mr. Trump is clear in that he will then declare the national emergency that would allow the use of military funding to then secure the southern border.
