Veteran’s Day Parade Huntsville 2025

Huntsville’s Veterans Day Parade 2025 got off to a cool start and lingered for a little more than two hours. Usually a long parade, this one like some others was punctuated by lackadaisical organization that left gaps in the line up and some displays struggling to keep the up the pace.

Onlookers did, however, get to enjoy very nice weather in general with a bright sunny day, with a little breeze, and not too uncomfortable temperatures around 50°. As the day wore on, a few high thin clouds did filter out some sunshine and that was punctuated by a little more breeze than I had noticed earlier making it a little less comfortable as the parade finally ended.

I don’t usually politicize an event of this type since it really is just a commemoration for public participation including the families of school kids. But, because of the extraordinary political events taking place with Donald Trump, which includes a number of warlike actions involving unconstitutional use of the military, inordinately obstinate behavior in regard to budget issues, especially weaponizing hunger, overtly unconstitutional steps to impose censorship, the reality that New York City has elected a Islamic mayor only 25 years after 911, and the fact that Trump has systematically set the stage in a way that could facilitate a finalization of his coup to impose an outright dictatorship – I felt some political comments on this occasion were not just appropriate but necessary.

Its good to report that I’ve managed to upgrade my equipment in general and overall this is one of the best quality streams I’ve ever been able to present. This is ironic because the bad news is that after I moved around the corner one time too many, I apparently got into a weak signal, or some deliberate interference, and parts of the video there are not optimum. It’s ironic because now I remember the first stream of this type that I ever did had the same problems, but that stream had so many problems it was hard to differentiate exactly what happened anyway. The next trouble in that segment is that some of the new software wasn’t alerting me when the signal went bad. I’m still learning the new program and maybe I can find the right setting and display for next time. Oh, well.

Next time is most likely going to be Huntsville’s Christmas parade on December 2nd at 6:00 PM. I plan to live stream again on YouTube, FaceBook and Twitch so tune in there if you can’t show in person but want to see this event live. I’ll be looking for a better signal before I get there. Lol.

FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA

Folks following my social media, i.e. Instagram, already know – I’m adventure bikepacking! After finishing the East Coast Greenway (ECG) in 2024 I peddled back though about half of west Florida then taking Amtrak from Tampa to Jacksonville. From Jacksonville, I peddled out of Florida, into Georgia and through Atlanta, then across to Alabama and […]

FBI Busts SPLC?

It remains to be understood why responsible congressional leadership have not impeached and removed Trump from office.

The Moral Turpitude Of Donald Trump And His Loyalists

Child molestation, rape, torture… of 10 yr old children in Huntsville City schools is a heinous crime of moral turpitude universally considered illegal under every system of legitimate law. In fact, what has already occurred are war crimes. The very deliberately orchestrated deep state conspiracy to obsfucate and launder those crimes are the criminal liability […]

St. Pat's Parade Huntsville 2026

The parade got off to good start today with great weather, warm temperatures, sunny skies and little breeze. This year’s parade seemed well organized with many nicely done fancy floats and krewes that were in a festive mood.
