St. Patrick’s Parade 2024

Huntsville’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade was a humdinger this year with especially exuberant revelers if the crowd was a bit smaller than in recent years. A nice day with mild temps and overcast skies was pleasant for a fun day out.

I don’t even know if the Mardi Gras parade a few weeks ago even proceeded although planners had said “rain or shine” rain it did. A steady drizzle at parade time left me considering other things to do that afternoon. Either way, a dampened spirit then may account for the noisy St. Pat’s crowd.

Since Roe V Wade was overturned it seems conservative / religious protestors have been left with leftover time as those clinics are now out of business. The result has been noisy demonstrations during this and other downtown events. When posturing to hear the the message of a demonstrator he only glanced my way saying “why don’t you repent?” I didn’t answer udually preferring not to be a part of the story on these situations.

The parade was a lively one lasting nearly an hour, which seems to be a good length allowing all the entries to follow closely one after the other. God bless ever’body!

More recently, it has become apparent to me that a low-level but active terrorist cell located in downtown Huntsville on […]

Seems Mr. Trump wishes to beg the point in regard as to where a number of different lines should be drawn. I can’t answer all those questions especially in light of AI, but I can say Congress has been extraordinarily irresponsible in protecting privacy online. I can’t say either where exactly to draw the line […]
