Honestly, I really hadn’t even decided to roll out this morning to even attempt to get a shot of the Super Blue Blood Moon because I knew it would be low on the horizon, and I frankly don’t like getting up before daylight, much less in the freezing cold without so much as a cup of coffee.
The historic event is over and now we find ourselves on the far side of the moon. In Huntsville “totality” only reached 97% but I got a pretty good shot.
Forgive me for waxing poetic… well maybe this wrap-up should just be called “waxy.” … In short, these stories about eugenics, censorship, invasion of privacy and the impending North Korean apocalypse deserve much more attention, but the world moves on, and these stories will reappear, probably over and again. Never-the-less, I take note for the sake of doing so.
The absolute optimum is actually early tomorrow morning, but hay, I’m done for the evening. You can still get out there and view this once in a lifetime event.
