Have you ever heard the joke about why it is that you drive on the Parkway, and park on the driveway? Well, if you’ve been out on I565 in the last couple of months, you may have seen this gizmo headed up and down the highway. Most likely you’ve seen it from on the roadway while in your car, so I decided to give you the eagle’s eye view of what it’s doing from the outside perspective.
At first glance, you might think this guy is out offering super convenient car washes to motorists as they zoom along without stopping or slowing down. But that’s not the case. As you can see here, however, he is giving the whitewalls a good washing. I watched for a few minutes and it seems to do a pretty good job.
One guy is wearing his poncho and it looks like alot of water splashing around. Could be a job perk in the heat of summer. Some guys get the cool job.
