Bernie Sanders Is Riding That Train

Bernie Sanders is gaining in the democratic polls but seems to be talking out of both sides of his mouth.

Reports today indicate that Bernie Sanders is contending for the lead in democratic polls along with Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden. But, reviewing his rhetoric on Twitter and in the news, it seems to me Barnie has a penchant for talking out of both sides of his mouth.

So far, all the democratic presidential hopefuls stink and none is really putting forth any sort of realistic and rational platform. I still don’t fully support all Donald Trump’s policies, but it’s really hard for me to imagine he won’t be reelected given the dearth of unridiculous democratic alternatives.

But I admit, I didn’t even watch the democratic debates. I just didn’t think I could stand an evening bored to tears and rolling my eyes back in my head over the outlandish and repetitive discussion. A large field is an old trick with the intention of involving as many different new party voters as possible. I also notice that out of the twenty something contenders that only the top five have more than about one percent of the voters. In other words, they don’t seem to be shaking out any new interest in their ultra-left socialist agenda.

So it still boils down to the lesser of evils, and in spite of some seriously contentious policy issues, Mr. Trump has indeed moved employment and the economy forward. The last bottom line cited in most elections is, well, the bottom line – if people really do vote their pocketbook, Donald Trump is looking like four more years.

It’s still too early to really call, so stayed tuned here to TOCC TV where I will be adding content and commentary on the 2020 election.
