SO what is up with that?

Here is some background about the freight building in the form of an article I posted on March 17, 2004, when the building burned down: Historic Depot Freight Building Fire

Which really just leaves a bunch of unanswered questions. Who owns the property? Is there even any hope of restoring the building? How can the City ignore what has become not just an eyesore, but an extremely dangerous attractive nuisance? (There was a death in the building recently, about 2 years ago, that was investigated as a suicide.) Early Works recently indicated that funding has been received in order to do major renovations to Constitution Hall Park, but no mention of the Historic Huntsville Freight Building was made.

Looking at the slide show, I’d say it’s time for Mayor Tommy Battle to be responsible for a change. Mayor Battle, Tear Down That Building!

    The Final Lynchpin

This is an original “Radio Show” column that I presented back in 2002. I created several of these while the Internet was still evolving just to see how it would work. The song says “video killed the radio star,” but in this case the original presentation was killed by advanced browsers that automatically block pop-ups. […]

Rock Church Blab And Grab Boondoggle

To suggest that the Rock Church Blab And Grab Boondoggle and the attendant combination of Church, municipal, state, and business associations makes up a conspiracy of corruption, ethical conflicts, legal conflicts, violations of church and state separation, human trafficking, murder, and other unconstitutional civil rights violations – would be putting it nicely.

If ever a picture was worth 750,000 words, this one is surely it. Nowadays it isn’t hard to get up a few Uncle Tom’s to make a picture like this, a shameless and unabashed echo of George Wallace’s infamous school house stand in 1963.

    Meet Tommy O’BattleCare Of Huntsville

Today, when you go to the store to buy your goods and services, you will be met with an additional one percent sales tax. Last fall, right before Christmas, when no one was paying attention, the Huntsville City Council unanimously passed the sales tax increase – and today is your lucky day!

    Manslaughter In Wichita

Our leaders are in denial of what is obvious at face value. The biggest threat to the future of this country is the incompetence and corruption of law enforcement.

    Re ELECTION DAY 2016 !!!

Even though the turnout has been heavy throughout the nation, I found this oddly low turnout at my polling place this morning about 9:00 a.m. I do usually time my arrival for the least likely crowd, but when the turnout is big, there are usually more than I found in line today.
