Feminists descended into Huntsville on Saturday to hold a rally in Big Spring Park and March around the courthouse in support of their agenda mainly focused on their intent to legalize abortion. Speakers spoke to about 100 onlookers, a relatively small crowd when compared to the protests last summer after Roe V Wade was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court. The protests during June may have had as many as 1200 – 1500 marchers. Others subjects touched on during the rally were domestic abuse, Black Lives Matter and women’s rights in general.
