The parade got off to good start today with great weather, warm temperatures, sunny skies and little breeze. This year’s parade seemed well organized with many nicely done fancy floats and krewes that were in a festive mood.

Thousands of spectators took advantage of the gorgeous weather lining the streets and sidewalks throughout downtown for as far as the eye could see. Downtown bars and club were full with outdoor areas overflowing as guests were getting their share of green beer on the shamrock holiday.

Enjoy the video. Unfortunately, bandwidth was a little glitchy a couple of times so there’s maybe ten minutes worth that didn’t make the cut.
