Madison Police Cooking The Books And The Munchies

I am a native of Alabama, and so I fully understand some of the undertow of animosity and consternation that decent people in the South sometimes feel about a past that we did not participate in and had nothing to do with. As such, I am frankly disgusted and fed up with the “good ole boys” who still think they can turn the clock back 100 years to a time, a country, and a way of life that simply doesn’t exist. It’s obtuse.

I felt this to be a remarkable shot for several reasons. The rarity, getting three in one frame, the distance away, and the distance off the ground up in the trees. It was well after dark, shooting max f-stop and zoom at a max 300mm for a 2 second exposure at 800 iso, on a monopod steadied against a nearby fence. After the fact, I found I actually over exposed a little bit, but all in all I can’t complain too much about the clarity and sharpness of the focus.

BREAKING NEWS: Yard Abatement Last Straw

The scuttlebutt on the streets is that City and State officials have had it. This mayhem must be stopped! Reports at this time indicate that a contingency of armored vehicles has been commissioned from Redstone Arsenal with backup to arrive from Ft. McClellan within the week. Residents will be asked to move, and if they refuse, their homes will be bulldozed while they are still inside.
